Little South Fork fly tying furniture is built with hand-cut mortise-and-tenon joinery. This means it's of rock solid, old-world construction. It also means the legs don't come off. The top drawer section does come off, and can be packed underneath the rest of the desk for crating and shipping. You can talk to Ken and request removable legs, however they will not be nearly as cool or strong. Here are some delivery options:
- Pickup--You can pick up the desk yourself from Ken's shop near Elk, Washington, about 35 miles North of Spokane. Lots of great river and lake fishing in the area, so bring your rods, waders and your float tube! These options are free, of course.
- Shipping--We can ship via many different common carriers. Our desks are too big for UPS, our smaller products of course can ship via any method. We will custom crate your desk for the shipper so it will arrive safely. Shipping, crating and insurance costs vary greatly by which carrier is used, where you live, and where you will pick up your desk. Picking it up at a local freight depot will save you lots of cash compared to home delivery by a semi truck! Contact us for a detailed shipping quote.
